Gym, golf, beach and more

At Rungstedgaard there are multiple things to enjoy. Whether you love to be active at the golf course or like to see the sunset over the ocean - we have it.

FITNESS ROOM

In our beautiful Porter's Lodge, we have created the perfect little fitness room with stair master, weights, wall bars, workout mats and exercise balls.

RUNNING ROUTE

We have designated a 2 km - 5 km running route in the park. Should you feel like a longer run, you just need to slip out of the gate and run across the golf course to the adjacent woods, or enjoy a run along the sea.

THE OCEAN

If you feel tempted, you can borrow a beach towel from reception and take a dip in the ocean, located just across the street.

CYCLING

Rungstedgaard is located on Strandvejen, one of the most beautiful and popular routes for road cyclists in Northern Zealand. We have everything you need to take care of your bike or you can rent one with us.

GOLF

Rungsted Golf Club, is a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive from us. Kokkedal Golf Club is only a 10 minute drive away. Hørsholm Golf Club is a 10 minute drive away.

Wellness

We want all of our guests to enjoy our fantastic countryside stay near Copenhagen while also pampering their body and mind.

We offer a number of treatments from Art by Cat, which is wonderfully situated in our beautiful Porter’s Lodge. Here you can spoil yourself with products from e.g. Decleor and Bare Minerals.

We have just opened opened our wellness area where you can enjoy a fresh dip in Øresund followed by relaxation in our sauna. You can also enjoy a training in our small fitnessarea.

Outdoor

We are privileged enough to have a private park as our back garden and Øresund ocean right at the front, so it would be a shame not to make good use of it. Go for a beautiful walk in the park and experience the many outdoor activities Copenhagen it has to offer. For example, play a game of petanque or take advantage of our cosy campfire spot for an informal meeting. There is room for 20 people around the campfire and you can even have lunch served there in a cosy and informal setting. Or why not hold a walk n’talk in the pavilion by the lake or sit together in our delightful chef’s garden while enjoying the flowers, herbs and serenity?

Team building

All around our park you will come across different activities and posts that our talented collaborative partners, Coast Zone, use on a daily basis for various types of team building activities. Luckily, for us CoastZone has an office here at Rungstedgaard near Copenhagen, so they are on-hand with in depth knowledge of the area and its opportunities.
